A 60 foot long skeleton was recently unearthed by Chinese villagers: they are reportedly convinced that it is the skeleton of an actual dragon.
Villagers from Zhangjiakou City, in China’s northern Hebei Province filmed the discovery.
While many would say it’s quite likely the remains are from some other reptilian creature, and they look far from fossilized, it is definitely interesting.
The skeleton features a fairly large skull with 2 small arms. Traditionally, mythological Chinese dragons tend to have no wings, instead flying by kind of swimming through the air.
The fact that it is reddish must mean the creature died fairly recently, right? That would certainly make the possibility of it being a “dragon” less. However if it were fossilized, that would make it more compelling.
