WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has accused Hillary Clinton of lying and displaying a “cold creepiness” after last years failed US presidential candidate told the ABC in Australia the WikiLeaks founder was a “tool of Russian intelligence”.

“Assange has become a kind of nihilistic opportunist who does the bidding of a dictator,” she said in an interview with ABC’s Four Corners, referring to Russian president Vladimir Putin.

“WikiLeaks is unfortunately now practically a fully owned subsidiary of Russian intelligence,” she continued.

Clinton went on to claim that in a bid to derail her presidential campaign, Julian Assange teamed up with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“I think that their intention, coming from the very top with Putin, was to disrupt my presidential bid and to help Donald Trump,” she added.

“Our intelligence community and other observers of Russia and Putin have said he held a grudge against me because as secretary of state, I stood up against some of his actions, his authoritarianism,” Clinton said.

“If he’s such a martyr of free speech, why doesn’t WikiLeaks News ever publish anything coming out of Russia? You don’t see damaging, negative information coming out about the Kremlin on WikiLeaks,”she added.

Assange responded to the claims by tweeting, “something wrong with Hillary Clinton,”

“It is not just her constant lying,” he wrote on Monday. “It is not just that she throws off menacing glares and seethes thwarted entitlement.

“Something much darker rides along with it. A cold creepiness rarely seen.”

Contrary to lies circulated by establishment propagandists like Malcolm Nance, WikiLeaks News has a pristine record for publishing authentic documents.

Unlike other “media” outlets we have also never had to retract any of its material due to inauthenticity.

If Hillary Clinton claims that WikiLeaks influenced “the perceptions and views of millions of voters” is true, then those perceptions and views were influenced by truth and nothing but the truth.
