A bride tragically died in a helicopter crash just one mile from the altar as she attempted a surprise arrival.
Rosemere do Nascimento Silva, 32, had a childhood dream to surprise her fiancé and guests by getting airdropped to the wedding venue in Brazil.
But it ended in horrific tragedy when the aircraft crashed during the flight, killing the bride-to-be, her brother, the pilot and a photographer who was six months pregnant.
Her fiancé Udirley Damasceno was left waiting at the altar with 300 guests who were unaware of Rosemere’s plans or the horror that unfolded.
Cops and aircraft investigators had been trying to establish why the helicopter crashed. Now new footage has surfaced appearing to show the moment the chopper went down.
Investigators believe the helicopter hit a tree due to poor visibility conditions caused by rain and fog.
The terrifying footage shows how the pilot and the bride herself are unable to see anything through the windows because of the low-hanging cloud.
Rosemere grips onto her brother Silvano’s hand and her face is increasingly concerned as the helicopter begins to hit turbulence.
As the aircraft spins out of control, an alarm sounds and the pilot frantically tells his passengers to keep calm. Moments later, the harrowing footage cuts out as the camera screen cracks.
When the helicopter did not arrive at the venue he made a phone call to confirm that the flight had taken off as planned.
Guests were later told a plane had crashed in a nearby location but thought it was an unconnected incident. Only six guests knew about the intended surprise.
The pastor had the devastating job of telling the groom at the altar where he broke down and is said to have gone into total shock. VIA
